After having my daughter, we prioritized using cloth diapers to ensure less chemical exposure to our baby and less waste (that we knew would take 100's of years to decompose). I remember once I got my period back having to buy new pads and realizing the irony that came with this. After doing some research, I learned that vulvas are highly absorbent and pads contained dioxins, parabens, VOC's and the list goes on. I also learned one pad could take up to 500 years to decompose.
I was an avid sewer and was determined to make a comfortable and sustainable solution for myself. After a year of testing and research, I found I really enjoyed making pads and wanted to educate other women about how much more comfortable, affordable and easy they are. I decided to start a small business and haven't looked back.
I'm so excited to help more women to discover comfortable options that are not only sustainable but designed for those who value beauty and nature.
